The Service Leader role at Chipotle is a pivotal position centered on maintaining exceptional customer experiences through the delivery of safe, delicious, and high-quality food. The Service Leader is responsible for ensuring that all restaurant crew members are well-trained, motivated, and equipped with the necessary tools to provide excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include resolving food quality issues swiftly to maintain customer satisfaction, enforcing strict food safety policies such as proper hand washing, glove changing, and temperature monitoring, and ensuring that all crew members adhere to these standards. Service Leaders also help manage shift logistics, including breaks, meetings, and scheduling, while mentoring and developing crew members for future leadership roles. Administrative duties like cash handling, banking, office paperwork, and supply management are essential to this role, requiring attention to detail and organizational skills. Job Duties
- Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served
- Help resolve food quality issues
- Support food safety including hand washing, glove changes, and temperature monitoring
- Ensure compliance with Daily Food Safety Checklist and policies
- Resolve customer incidents to ensure positive experiences
- Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules
- Develop and cross train front of house crew
- Assist with crew performance reviews
- Develop future Service Leaders
- Manage office administration such as banking, cash handling, and paperwork
- Maintain office equipment and order supplies
- Ensure proper quantity of supplies is available
