The Service Leader role at Chipotle is an essential leadership position integral to maintaining a positive customer experience and ensuring the efficient operation of the restaurant. This full-time role involves overseeing the preparation and serving of safe, high-quality food while supporting and training restaurant crew members in delivering excellent customer service. Service Leaders are actively involved in the daily restaurant operations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment equipped with properly functioning line equipment. The position requires standing and being on the feet throughout the shift, except during breaks, while proactively identifying and completing various tasks to support restaurant efficiency. Responsibilities include upholding Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy, ensuring compliance with food safety standards including hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature monitoring, and completion of daily safety checklists. The Service Leader helps resolve food quality issues and customer incidents to ensure positive dining experiences. Additionally, this role involves monitoring crew breaks, shift changes, and meetings while assisting with crew performance reviews and cross-training front-of-house employees. Service Leaders are tasked with nurturing future leaders and managing administrative duties such as banking, cash handling, office paperwork, ensuring the availability of supplies, and maintaining office equipment. Job Duties

  • Making sure great tasting, high quality food is served
  • helping to resolve food quality issues
  • supporting food safety including hand washing, glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, checking secondary shelf lives, completing the Daily Food Safety Checklist, ensuring food safety policies are followed
  • helping to resolve customer incidents and ensuring positive customer experiences
  • monitoring crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
  • developing and cross training all front of house crew
  • assisting with crew performance reviews
  • developing future Service Leaders
  • assisting with office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork
  • ensuring office equipment remains in working order and managing office supplies
  • ensuring proper quantity of supplies are available as needed
