Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a renowned fast-casual restaurant chain committed to cultivating a better world through responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food. The company stands out in the fast-food industry by serving high-quality meals without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Chipotle owns and operates all of its restaurants across North America and Europe, including countries like the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. With a commitment to sustainability, digital innovation, and providing an exceptional guest experience, Chipotle has become a leader and innovator in the food industry. The company is passionate about making better food accessible to everyone and continuously evolves to shape the future of farming, food, and restaurant service.

The Role: As a Service Leader at Chipotle, you will play a vital role in ensuring an outstanding customer experience by maintaining the highest standards in food quality, safety, and service. This role requires a proactive individual responsible for managing the restaurant crew, making sure all team members are well-trained and equipped to deliver excellent service. You will oversee the cleanliness and efficiency of the service line, ensure that food safety policies are strictly followed, and help resolve any food quality or customer service issues that arise. Physical activity is expected as this role involves standing and working during shifts, except for breaks. When not directly engaged in tasks, Service Leaders are expected to evaluate the restaurant’s needs and assist with other operational duties.

Key responsibilities include upholding Chipotle's 'Food With Integrity' philosophy by ensuring the preparation and serving of great tasting, high-quality food. The Service Leader supports food safety by enforcing hand washing and glove protocols, monitoring food temperatures, and managing shelf life controls. Additionally, managing crew schedules, breaks, shift meetings, and performance reviews falls under this role. The position also involves administrative tasks such as banking, cash handling, and maintaining office supplies and equipment to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Service Leaders are also mentors, actively developing future leaders from within the team and fostering a collaborative work environment.

This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for service, leadership, and the food industry. Compensation is competitive, and employees benefit from a robust package that includes tuition assistance, free meals, medical, dental, and vision insurance, digital tips, paid time off, and holiday closures.
