Job Description
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is revolutionizing the fast-food industry by focusing on responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food made with wholesome ingredients without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Founded on the principle of "Food With Integrity," Chipotle proudly operates restaurants across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. Unlike many other restaurant chains, Chipotle owns and operates all its restaurants in North America and Europe, ensuring high standards for quality and consistency. The company is deeply committed to sustainability, innovation in digital and technology, and fostering an inclusive work culture that values diversity and equity at all levels.
Joining Chipotle means becoming part of a people-first organization dedicated to cultivating a better world through food. In this role, you will be integral to maintaining Chipotle's mission to make better food accessible to everyone while supporting efforts to shift the future of farming and food. Included in your day-to-day activities will be ensuring that customers receive friendly, timely service and that food safety protocols are rigorously followed. As a Service Leader, you will help cultivate a positive restaurant environment by leading and training crew members, handling food quality issues, assisting in performance reviews, and ensuring proper operational procedures are maintained.
The Service Leader role at Chipotle is a dynamic and hands-on position that requires active engagement in the restaurant. You will be on your feet managing and supporting the team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient line. Safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are your top priorities, and your leadership will directly affect the guest experience. This position also involves administrative tasks such as cash handling, banking, office equipment maintenance, and supply management.
Chipotle values employees who are proactive team players capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. This role offers significant opportunities for personal and professional growth, with 80% of managers having started their careers as Crew members. Chipotle provides competitive compensation along with an attractive benefits package that includes tuition assistance, health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday closures, digital tips, and free food while on shift.
Working at Chipotle means more than just a job; it means joining a community committed to continuously learning, evolving, and shaping the future of fast food in meaningful ways. Whether you are looking to start your career or grow within a recognized leader in the food industry, the Service Leader position offers a fulfilling opportunity to develop your leadership skills while contributing to a purpose-driven brand.
