The Service Leader role at Chipotle is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about food quality, customer service, and team leadership within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a Service Leader, you will be at the forefront of maintaining excellent food safety standards and upholding Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy, ensuring that every customer experiences great-tasting, high-quality food served quickly and safely.
This role requires hands-on leadership in managing the front-of-house operations, including training and cross-training crew members, monitoring break schedules, and supporting shift changes and meetings. You will also play a critical role in resolving customer incidents, maintaining clean and organized service lines, and assisting with performance reviews and development of future leaders. The position involves office administrative duties such as cash handling, banking, paperwork management, and inventory control, requiring attention to detail and organizational skills.
Working as a Service Leader means being actively engaged and on your feet, supporting your team and filling in wherever needed to keep the restaurant operating smoothly. Job Duties
- making sure great tasting, high quality food is served
- helping to resolve food quality issues
- supporting food safety including ensuring hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and ensuring food safety policies and procedures are followed
- helping to resolve customer incidents and ensuring positive customer experiences
- monitoring crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
- developing and cross training all front of house crew
- assisting with crew performance reviews
- developing future service leaders
- assisting with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork
- ensuring office equipment remains in working order and making sure office supplies are ordered as necessary
- ensuring the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed
