The Service Leader position at Chipotle is a critical role responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience by maintaining safe and high-quality food preparation and service standards. This role demands a dynamic and proactive individual who can effectively manage restaurant line operations, train and develop crew members, and uphold food safety protocols to the highest degree. The Service Leader leads by example, working actively on the restaurant floor to monitor cleanliness, equipment function, and overall line organization. Exceptional multitasking skills are necessary as this position requires overseeing crew breaks, shift changes, and performance reviews while simultaneously assisting with office administrative duties such as cash handling policies, banking, and paperwork management. Service Leaders are also instrumental in fostering teamwork and cross-training among staff, ensuring that all front-of-house crew members are well-prepared to meet the demands of a fast-paced restaurant environment. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • making sure great tasting, high quality food is served
  • helping to resolve food quality issues
  • supporting food safety which includes ensuring hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and ensuring the Daily Food Safety Checklist and food safety policies and procedures are followed
  • helping to resolve customer incidents and working to ensure positive customer experiences
  • helping to monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
  • developing and cross training all front of house crew
  • assisting with crew performance reviews
  • developing future service leaders
  • assisting with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork
  • ensuring office equipment remains in working order and making sure office supplies are ordered as necessary
  • ensuring the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed
