The Service Leader role at Chipotle is a pivotal position responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience by overseeing food safety, quality, and service within the restaurant. This role requires a dynamic individual who is dedicated not only to maintaining high standards in food preparation and service but also to fostering a positive work environment for the restaurant crew. As a Service Leader, you will play a critical role in managing the front-of-house operations, which includes training and developing the crew, monitoring shift schedules, and guaranteeing cleanliness and organization of the food line. The position demands active engagement, requiring Service Leaders to be on their feet during their shifts, ready to assist with various duties to keep the restaurant running smoothly. You will also be entrusted with handling cash management duties, ensuring compliance with food safety protocols, and supporting initiatives that lead to continuous improvement in customer service and operational efficiency. With a base salary range from $18.80 to $20.90 per hour plus digital tips, this role offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package. Job Requirements

  • have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • have restaurant experience
  • have knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
  • have knowledge of food safety and health department matters
  • have familiarity with office paperwork
  • be able to speak write read and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
  • be able to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • restaurant experience
  • knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures
  • knowledge of food safety and health department regulations
  • ability to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work location
  • familiarity with office paperwork

Job Duties

  • make sure great tasting high quality food is served
  • help to resolve food quality issues
  • support food safety including hand washing and glove changes monitoring time and temperature on the line monitoring secondary shelf lives and ensuring food safety policies are followed
  • help to resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
  • monitor crew breaks shift changes shift meetings and line schedules
  • develop and cross train front of house crew
  • assist with crew performance reviews
  • develop future service leaders
  • assist with office administration duties such as banking cash handling policies and office paperwork
  • ensure office equipment remains in working order and order office supplies as necessary
  • ensure proper quantity of supplies are available
