In response to its growing service department, Casey Kia is actively seeking a dedicated Service Greeter/Porter to join its expanding team. This full-time position is situated primarily in a high-traffic service drive, making it a pivotal role for first impressions and customer interaction. The Service Greeter/Porter will serve as the friendly and professional initial point of contact for customers as they arrive for vehicle service. This role demands an outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and the physical ability to manage tasks that keep the service area organized and running smoothly.

Responsibilities in this role include warmly greeting customers, escorting them to their designated Service Advisors, and assisting with various service-related tasks such as vehicle preparation and maintenance checks. The Service Greeter/Porter is also tasked with vehicle movement duties including parking and delivering customer vehicles while ensuring safety and efficiency. An emphasis on vehicle cleanliness and readiness for delivery is essential, which involves checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and performing thorough cleaning and sanitization.

The role requires someone who is physically active and comfortable with the demands of extensive walking, kneeling, and bending across varying weather conditions. Hours for this position are scheduled between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Saturday, including some holidays, totaling a 40-plus hour workweek. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record
  • Ability to safely drive both manual and automatic transmissions is preferred
  • Outgoing and friendly personality with the ability to greet and interact positively with customers
  • Capability to perform physical tasks including extensive walking, kneeling, and bending in various weather conditions
  • Availability to work full-time (40+ hours per week) with flexible shifts between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm from Monday to Saturday, including some holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record
  • Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outgoing and friendly personality

Job Duties

  • Greet every customer with an upbeat attitude and escort them to their assigned Service Advisor
  • Assist Service Advisors with various tasks
  • Dress vehicles for service by applying steering wheel, seat, and floor covers
  • Perform initial vehicle checks including testing batteries and topping off fluid levels
  • Attach key tags to vehicles
  • Move and park customer vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Prepare customer vehicles for delivery by checking tire pressure and fluids and ensuring vehicles are washed, vacuumed, and sanitized
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and appealing appearance of the service lane, surrounding areas, and immediate parking lots
