Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food service or deli work is advantageous
- ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk regularly
- willingness to work in varied noise levels and temperature conditions including cooler and hot food preparation environments
- able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- physical ability to minimally sit and remain active throughout working hours
Job Qualifications
- Highly organized with a keen sense of details
- great listening and communication skills
- able to handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting while handling products or using various equipment
- ability to shine in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Respond to customer questions in an effective manner
- stock products and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards
- perform basic department cleaning upkeep including pots, pans, and utensils
- follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products
- assist customers with their orders for a variety of deli services
- work well as part of a team
- perform other duties as assigned or required
