The Service Clerk position located at the 329 Fresno Extra store on 5700 N. Blackstone Avenue in Fresno, California, offers an hourly starting rate of $16.90. This role is part of the store operations team and is essential in ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and maintaining the store's orderly and clean environment. The Service Clerk reports directly to the Store Manager or Senior Assistant Manager and is responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth functioning of the store. Responsibilities include managing shopping carts by collecting and organizing them within the store and retrieving them from the parking lot and surrounding areas, assisting customers with their purchases and loading their vehicles, checking retail prices for accuracy, and restocking merchandise from check stands or misplaced aisles. In addition, the role requires monitoring the cleanliness of the store and its surroundings by sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and maintaining restrooms throughout the day.

Candidates for this role are expected to demonstrate effective communication skills, including reading and writing English, interpreting simple instructions and product information, and presenting information clearly to customers and coworkers.
