Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years managerial or supervisory experience in the quick lube or automotive business
  • effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and percentages
  • reliable transportation to and from work
  • ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand for extended periods and climb stairs
  • full mobility including ability to twist, stoop and bend

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years managerial or supervisory experience in quick lube or automotive business
  • strong leadership and team development skills
  • effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • basic math competency including percentages
  • knowledge of cash handling and safety control policies
  • ability to train others in vehicle preventive maintenance
  • customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • manage the overall operation of the service center including hiring, training and disciplining employees
  • ensure excellent customer service and maintain store inventory and housekeeping
  • achieve profit targets and ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety policies
  • oversee inventory control, labor management and financial performance
  • mentor, lead and train team members to maximize development
  • perform and instruct on automotive preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks and replacements, filter changes, light and wiper inspections
  • maintain a clean, organized and safe service center environment
  • provide exceptional customer service leadership
  • build trust to retain loyal customers
