The Service Cashier/Receptionist position is an integral role within a busy automotive dealership environment, designed to provide exceptional customer service support and efficient administrative assistance. In conjunction with receptionist duties, this role includes cashier responsibilities primarily related to the Parts and Service departments. The cashier assists customers by accepting payments made by cash, credit, or check toward parts and service invoices. Along with processing payments, the cashier is responsible for reconciling payments, conducting closing procedures, and ensuring all transactions correspond correctly to cashier reports. Accuracy and integrity in handling financial transactions are vital.
Beyond direct customer interactions and payment processing, this position involves data entry and report generation through the dealership's computer systems. The Service Cashier/Receptionist also supports the Business Office by assisting with scanning and paperwork as required. They play an essential role in managing incoming express mail packages, logging and distributing these items promptly to the correct recipients.

Job Duties
- Answer incoming phone calls, directs caller to appropriate department or individual or takes a thorough message
- Greet all showroom guests promptly and determine the nature of their visit

- Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
- Enter data into computer system and run necessary reports
- Take payment in the form of cash, credit, and check to be applied to parts and service invoices
