Job Description

We are currently seeking a Service Attendant/Busser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food items under the guidance of our cafe manager. Your daily tasks will involve preparing soups, salads, desserts, and beverages, as well as handling wrapped food and pickles. A key part of your role will be maintaining the front-of-house (FOH) areas, including stocking displays, preparing trays, and delivering food to guests. You will also play a vital role in keeping the dining room and restrooms clean and stocked to ensure a pleasant guest experience. This position calls for someone who can interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, skillfully responding to their requests or referring them to management when necessary.

Your versatility will be valued as you support secondary functions such as working as an expo, cashier, dishwasher, or line cook when needed. Maintaining accurate cash flow during cashiering duties and ensuring the integrity of financial transactions is another important responsibility. Attention to detail, organization, and proficiency in POS systems will help ensure smooth operations during your shifts. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in guest service, preferably in a restaurant or retail environment, and possess strong communication skills. Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent or in pursuit of same
  • Must be able to complete CBC driver training
  • pass a motor vehicle report according to CBC standards
  • maintain a valid driver’s license with insurance
  • Possess state Foodhandler card or ServSafe certification as applicable
  • Preferably minimum of three months work experience in a guest service role
  • Strong guest service and communication skills
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Computer literate and proficient in POS systems
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Proficient in basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
