The current opportunity is for a full-time Service Assistant to join the Volkswagen Marin team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and wants to develop a career in the automotive service industry. The Service Assistant serves as an essential link between customers and the service department, ensuring that client needs and concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently. This role involves managing appointment scheduling, answering inbound sales calls professionally, and following up post-service appointments to confirm satisfaction. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in state-of-the-art facilities equipped with the latest tools and technologies, supported by a cohesive and collaborative team environment.

The position offers approximately $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, along with opportunities for professional growth within a rapidly expanding company.   • Previous customer service, sales, or telemarketing experience
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Self-motivated and diligent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be insured to operate a motor vehicle
  • Willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check

Job Duties

  • Identify the client's needs and assist with scheduling appointments
  • Ensure clients concerns, such as costs, warranty questions, appointment duration, etc., are addressed prior to appointment date
  • Receive inbound sales phone calls and leads in a courteous and accommodating manner
  • Confirm all client appointments prior to the appointment date, making adjustments if necessary
  • Follow up post visit to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with the Service Department, including attending Department meetings
