The position of Service Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining the seamless flow of operations and enhancing guest experiences in this dynamic environment. Service Assistants are primarily responsible for sustaining a clean, welcoming, and well-organized dining area by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables efficiently. By directly supporting servers and bartenders, Service Assistants contribute to a high standard of hospitality, ensuring guests receive attentive service in a timely manner. Their duties expand to replenishing service stations, assisting with guest needs, and preparing the dining room impeccably for each service session. Job Duties
- provide guest hospitality
- clear, clean, and replenish tables, settings, and all service areas
- remove courses as completed and deliver to kitchen
- replenish utensils
- refill water glasses
- remain alert to guest needs at all times
- aid waitstaff and bartenders as needed to perform guest related duties
- ensure polished and clean presentation of all areas
- prepare dining rooms for patrons by cleaning, setting napkins, service plates, water bottles, and utensils
- perform opening and closing duties including set-up, maintenance, and breakdown of the area
- support servers by setting up and replenishing service stations, trash container liners, and bus stations
- maintain service areas, clean up spills as needed
- fulfill guest dining requests and communicate guest requests to servers
- greet guests upon seating and fill water glasses
- adhere to sanitation and safety policies
- follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines
- perform all other reasonably assigned duties
