The hiring establishment is a community-focused ministry operating a coffeeshop that serves as both a gathering space and a service hub for hospitality events. This part-time opportunity is designed for individuals passionate about providing excellent customer service in a dynamic environment. The coffeeshop is integral to the ministry's efforts to foster community connections through daily service and special event hospitality. Working hours total more than 20 hours weekly with specific shifts on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays, and flexible availability to support events is essential. Job Duties

  • Effectively run the coffeeshops during services and manage inventory as needed
  • Assist with hospitality events as needed, including preparing coffee
  • Serving in banquets, i.e., in food serving, cleaning, and catering, to execute the event with excellence
  • Aide team when running an event, small or big, by helping to produce what is needed
  • Aiding the team when someone is off/sick and being able to fill that role so that the ministry continues smoothly
  • Training volunteers in the coffee shop - taking orders, interacting with customers, and making drinks
