Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of relevant delivery driving experience
- valid driver's license for applicable vehicle class
- clear driving record
- ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- physically capable of lifting and handling up to 50 pounds regularly
- must be at least 21 years old
- ability to work full time
- ability to follow safety protocols and company policies
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- willingness to adhere to uniform and grooming standards
Job Qualifications
- Safety 1st mentality
- 1+ years of experience with preference in box truck or delivery experience
- 1+ years of no at-fault accidents
- clean motor vehicle record
- maintain a current driver’s license relevant to vehicle class
- ability to obtain and maintain a DOT certificate
- must be 21 years or older
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly with bending and twisting
- must complete driver vehicle inspection reports as per policy and DOT regulations
- abide by all federal, state, and local laws
- pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies
- pick, stage and load trucks as requested
- understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
- maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
- adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
- securely handle COD (cash or check) when applicable as required per company COD policy
- maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area
- maintain exceptional customer service based on company values
- come to work in a clean and laundered uniform provided by NTW
- operate various material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner as needed
- perform other duties as requested or needed
