Job Description
TBC Corporation, a leader in the mobility industry for over 70 years, stands as one of North America's foremost marketers and distributors of automotive replacement tires. The company operates through an extensive wholesale network and nearly 470 franchised tire and automotive service centers under the highly regarded Big O Tires brand. Headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, TBC Corporation boasts $5 billion in revenue and employs more than 3,000 people across the United States and Mexico. The company markets to regional tire chains, distributors serving independent tire dealers, and offers proprietary tire brands that specialize in passenger, commercial, farm, and specialty tires. In 2005, TBC Corporation became part of Sumitomo Corporation of America, Japan’s major integrated trading and investment enterprise. In 2018, Michelin, Europe's largest tire manufacturer, invested in TBC, establishing a 50:50, privately held joint venture between Sumitomo and Michelin.
The organization’s core values—Integrity, Teamwork, People-Focused, Accountability, and Leave Everything Better—form the foundation of their work culture and business strategies. At TBC, honesty and integrity are paramount, and teamwork fosters a collaborative and inclusive environment. The company’s commitment to people extends from associates to customers and partners, emphasizing respect and inclusivity. Accountability is key to every action, and continuous innovation drives sustainable improvement.
The Service and Delivery Driver role at TBC offers candidates an exceptional career opportunity rather than just a job. This full-time position involves delivering products to customers using company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. Drivers also assist with warehouse inventory organization and maintenance. With competitive starting pay ranging from $21.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience and location, this role provides both financial rewards and growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will adhere to DOT regulations, maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety, and provide top-level customer service reflecting the company’s People-Focused values.
This position is designed for individuals who are safety-conscious, dependable, and eager to contribute to a respected international company’s success. TBC supports employees with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with company matching. The environment nurtures professional growth with tuition reimbursement and an employee assistance program. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license appropriate for company vehicle operations, have a clean driving record with no at-fault accidents over the past year, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively. Familiarity with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and the ability to complete driver vehicle inspections are also essential.
Joining TBC means becoming part of a team that values strategic thinking, innovation, collaboration, and effective communication. The company seeks team members who demonstrate a strategic mindset, take initiative, foster innovation, collaborate effectively, and maintain accountability. Employees are encouraged to develop their talents and drive engagement to contribute meaningfully to TBC's ongoing success. From day one, employees wear a clean, laundered uniform supplied by the company, promoting a professional and cohesive appearance.
This delivery driver position is an excellent choice for individuals seeking a rewarding career with a reputable company dedicated to its associates' welfare and development. TBC Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains a drug-free work environment, further underscoring its commitment to safety and professionalism. If you are looking for a role that offers stability, growth, and a chance to be part of an innovative leader in the automotive industry, TBC invites you to begin your career with them today.
