Job Description
TBC Corporation has established itself as a prominent leader in the mobility industry for over 70 years, serving as one of North America's largest marketers and distributors of automotive replacement tires through extensive wholesale operations. Headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, TBC Corporation boasts a robust presence with nearly 3,000 employees across the United States and Mexico, generating approximately 5 billion dollars in annual revenue. The company markets a proprietary range of tires designed for passenger vehicles, commercial trucks, farm equipment, and specialty applications. TBC’s services extend beyond wholesale marketing, as it also operates close to 470 franchised tire and automotive service centers under the well-known Big O Tires brand. The company’s long-standing commitment to quality, service, and innovation has positioned it as a trusted source for total car care solutions for consumers and businesses alike.
TBC Corporation’s organizational values form the cornerstone of its operations and corporate culture. These values encompass integrity, teamwork, people-focus, accountability, and a dedication to continuous improvement. The company fosters an environment where honesty and ethical behavior are paramount, where collaboration is encouraged, and where the focus remains on people — including associates, customers, franchisees, and partners. TBC is dedicated to maintaining an inclusive and respectful culture that inspires growth and innovation while holding itself accountable to the highest standards.
The current opportunity available is for the role of a full-time Service and Delivery Driver within TBC Corporation’s National Tire and Wheel (NTW) division. This position offers a rewarding career path rather than just a job, welcoming both newly experienced and seasoned delivery drivers. The starting pay ranges from $23.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on candidate location and experience.
The Service and Delivery Driver plays a vital role in ensuring excellent customer service by professionally and safely delivering automotive products, primarily tires and equipment, using company vehicles. Responsibilities extend beyond vehicle operation to include assisting with the maintenance, staging, and organization of inventory within warehouse settings. This multifaceted role requires a commitment to safety, adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and exemplary customer service aligned with the company’s values.
Candidates will operate delivery routes in a manner that follows predetermined sequencing, maintain cleanliness and safety standards of both their vehicle and work areas, and uphold all federal, state, and local laws governing commercial transportation. The position demands physical abilities such as lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively, bending and twisting, with occasional heavier lifting. Candidates must demonstrate a safety-first mindset, possess a clean driving record, and be capable of obtaining and maintaining a DOT certificate.
TBC Corporation emphasizes career growth, providing employees with a supportive environment for development along with competitive compensation and benefits. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plans with company matching, tuition reimbursement, and more. For individuals interested in a career that combines hands-on work with customer interaction and the opportunity to grow within a stable and reputable organization, this Service and Delivery Driver position presents an ideal opportunity.
