TBC Corporation is currently seeking motivated individuals for the role of Service and Delivery Driver, a full-time career position with an international company known for its respected corporate culture and growth opportunities. Starting pay for this position ranges between $23.00 and $26.00 per hour, depending on location and experience. As a Service and Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial part in delivering superior customer service by safely operating company vehicles to deliver tires, equipment, and automotive products, while also assisting with the maintenance and organization of the warehouse inventory. Your responsibilities will include the safe, efficient, and courteous operation of company vehicles in compliance with TBC policies and DOT regulations. You will be involved in picking, staging, and loading trucks, managing route sequencing for deliveries, handling payment collections when required, and maintaining all company equipment and vehicles in a clean and secure condition. Additionally, the role requires the operation of material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of commercial driving or delivery experience
  • Valid driver’s license appropriate for assigned vehicle
  • Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents in the past year
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) certificate
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally more
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and company policies
  • Willingness to wear a company-provided uniform
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
  • Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Safety 1st mentality
  • 1+ years of experience, box truck experience and/or delivery experience preferred
  • 1+ years of no at-fault accidents
  • Clean motor vehicle record
  • Maintain a current driver's license relevant to the types/classes of vehicles driven during company business
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Certificate while operating an NTW vehicle
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively while bending and twisting and ability to occasionally lift more than 50lbs
  • Complete driver vehicle inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations
  • Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws
  • Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of all required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law

Job Duties

  • Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies
  • Pick, stage and load trucks as requested
  • Understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
  • Adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
  • Securely handle COD (cash or check) when applicable as required per company COD policy
  • Maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area
  • Maintain exception customer service based on our People Focused Values
  • Come to work in a clean and laundered uniform that is provided by NTW
  • Operate various material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner as needed
  • Other duties as requested or needed
