The Service and Delivery Driver role at TBC Corporation offers an exciting full-time career opportunity rather than just a job. Starting pay ranges from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on location and experience. This role is responsible for delivering products to customers safely and professionally using company vehicles, and it involves general warehouse duties such as maintaining and organizing inventory. Drivers will operate box trucks or similar delivery vehicles and must adhere to strict DOT regulations including hours of service. The position also includes operating various material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of professional driving experience
- Valid driver’s license with appropriate classification
- Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents for at least one year
- Ability to pass DOT medical examination and obtain DOT certification
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to safely lift and handle materials up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Ability to work full-time and comply with company’s uniform and safety policies
- Willingness to operate various material handling equipment
- Ability to adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service
- Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings and background checks
Job Qualifications
- Safety 1st mentality
- 1+ years of experience, box truck experience and/or delivery experience preferred
- 1+ years of no at-fault accidents
- Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
- Maintain a current driver’s license relevant to the types/classes of vehicles driven during company business
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT certificate while operating an NTW vehicle
- Must be 21 years or older
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively while bending and twisting and ability to occasionally lift more than 50lbs
- Ability to complete driver vehicle inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations
- Abide by all federal, state, and local laws
- Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of all required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies
- Pick, stage and load trucks as requested
- Understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
- Adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
- Securely handle COD (cash or check) when applicable as required per company COD policy
- Maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area
- Maintain exceptional customer service based on our People Focused Values
- Come to work in a clean and laundered uniform that is provided by NTW
- Operate various material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner as needed
- Perform other duties as requested or needed
