Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license relevant to vehicle class
- minimum 1 year of delivery or driving experience preferred
- strong safety record including no at-fault accidents
- ability to obtain and maintain DOT certification
- must be age 21 or older
- ability to lift heavy loads up to 50lbs regularly
- able to follow route sequencing and DOT regulations
- passing background check and pre-employment drug screening
- ability to operate material handling equipment
- maintain clean and presentable uniform
- reliable and punctual
- good customer service skills
- able to complete required vehicle inspections
Job Qualifications
- Safety 1st mentality
- 1+ years of experience with box truck and/or delivery experience preferred
- 1+ years of no at-fault accidents
- clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
- maintain a current driver’s license relevant to the types/classes of vehicles driven during company business
- ability to obtain and maintain DOT certificate while operating company vehicle
- must be 21 years or older
- ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively and occasionally lift more than 50lbs
- complete driver vehicle inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations
- abide by all federal, state, and local laws
- ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies
- pick, stage and load trucks as requested
- understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
- maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
- adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
- securely handle COD (cash or check) when applicable as required per company COD policy
- maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area
- maintain exceptional customer service based on people-focused values
- come to work in a clean and laundered uniform provided by NTW
- operate various material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner as needed
- perform other duties as requested or needed
