Currently, Rose Senior Living Avon is recruiting a hospitality-focused Dining Room Server to join their culinary team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about senior care and hospitality. The position is part-time with various shifts available, including PT 11-7:30 (2-3 shifts per week), PT 4-7:30 (3-4 shifts per week), and PT 7a-3p (2-3 shifts per week). Working at this senior living community requires several pre-employment screenings, such as physical exams, fingerprinting, drug testing, background checks, and TB testing, all of which are provided free of charge to applicants by the community.

The Dining Room Server will perform full-scope, hands-on serving duties within the community’s dining facilities, ensuring that residents receive an excellent dining experience. This involves maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in all food service areas. The server is responsible for adhering rigorously to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards, upholding the dining room’s aesthetics, and creating an inviting dining atmosphere for all residents.

Key duties include setting tables and maintaining workstations in order, taking and delivering orders graciously and courteously, answering residents’ questions about menu items, and using proper serving etiquette at all times. This position demands a team player who is reliable and punctual and who has good communication skills to promote positive interactions with both residents and staff.
