Job Description

Glenwild is a prestigious private members club located at Kimball Junction in Park City, Utah, just a brief 25-minute drive from Salt Lake City. Nestled within a serene and picturesque environment, Glenwild offers an exclusive setting for members and their guests to enjoy exceptional dining, recreation, and social experiences. With a strong commitment to excellence and personalized service, the club prides itself on providing an unparalleled atmosphere that balances luxury with comfort and warmth. As a private club, Glenwild emphasizes community, quality, and discretion, making it a sought-after destination for those who value refinement and exceptional hospitality.

The role of a server at Glenwild is integral to maintaining the club’s high standards of food and beverage service. As a server, you will be part of an experienced and professional Food and Beverage (F&B) team dedicated to creating memorable and enjoyable experiences for every member and guest. The position requires an energetic, friendly, and outgoing individual who possesses excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for service. Servers at Glenwild are valued team players who understand that their role extends beyond simply taking orders and delivering meals – they are ambassadors of the club’s values, helping to cultivate a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere.

A Glenwild server must be organized and capable of thinking and acting quickly and effectively while maintaining composure under pressure. Sensitivity to members’ needs and preferences is crucial, as is a keen sense of timing to handle food and drink orders seamlessly. Taking pride in one’s personal appearance and demonstrating dedication to the job are essential traits for success in this role.

The scope of the server’s responsibilities includes direct interaction with members and guests in all aspects of food and beverage operations, including dining rooms, special events, and bar service. Glenwild servers provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service, ensuring that all guests feel personally welcomed and valued. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as servers are expected to cross-train and perform duties across various food and beverage service positions as needed.

In addition to service skills, Glenwild servers are expected to have a thorough knowledge of the club’s food menus, house cocktails, wines by the glass, and popular liquors and wines. They effectively communicate special requests between members, chefs, and bartenders, work collaboratively with other club personnel to maintain a clean and well-stocked environment, and assist in event setup and breakdown. Attention to detail, accuracy in order handling, and completion of any assigned side-work or tasks as directed by supervisors are all part of the everyday responsibilities.

This role requires dedication and professionalism, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and member satisfaction. Glenwild is an equal employment opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusivity. Employment offers at Glenwild are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and E-Verification, ensuring a safe and secure environment for members and staff alike.
