Job Description

Sandhill Cove is a premier senior living community dedicated to providing an extraordinary living experience to our residents. At Sandhill Cove, we pride ourselves on fostering an environment where respect, care, and hospitality are at the core of everything we do. Our commitment to investing in both our residents' futures and our employees' growth sets us apart as a leader in the senior living industry.

As a hospitality-focused establishment, we strive to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where every interaction reflects our core values and dedication to exceptional service. We understand the importance of life stories and experiences of our senior residents, and we are honored to be part of their continued journey. Working with us means you are joining a team that values integrity, compassion, and professionalism, making a significant difference in the lives of seniors every day.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and personable Server to join our culinary team. This is a part-time position requiring 20-28 hours per week, ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to a community-focused atmosphere. The Server role involves hands-on serving functions that are essential to delivering an excellent dining experience to our residents and guests. Starting hourly rate ranges from $15 to $18 depending on experience, with no tipping involved.

The Server will be responsible for preparing service stations, setting tables, running food and drinks to tables, assisting in timely clearing of tables, and maintaining cleanliness of the service area. The position requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to anticipate and respond to resident needs, and a commitment to upholding the high standards of hospitality that Sandhill Cove embodies.

In addition to routine duties, the Server must work effectively in a physically demanding environment that includes standing and walking for extended periods, occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds, and working in varying conditions such as heat and noise. We also value teamwork and accountability, with pre-shift meetings and clear communication being part of daily operations.

Sandhill Cove fosters a culture where hospitality is more than just service — it's a promise. Our hospitality promises include greeting residents and guests warmly by name and with a smile, treating everyone with respectful courtesy, anticipating and responding enthusiastically to their needs, maintaining professionalism in appearance and conduct, and always paying close attention to detail. If you are passionate about hospitality and senior engagement, eager to join a community that values your enthusiasm and professionalism, we encourage you to apply and become a part of this unique and fulfilling experience.
