Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must have completed high school
- physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to work flexible hours including on-call shifts
- willingness to comply with health and safety standards
- ability to interact respectfully with seniors and staff
Job Qualifications
- minimum of one year relevant experience in hospitality full-service or senior living preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- good judgment problem solving and decision-making skills
- high school diploma or equivalent
- customer service skills
- basic knowledge of food preparation and safety
Job Duties
- prepare and serve food to residents within scheduled time frame
- clean and maintain food service areas including kitchen and dining room
- communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing with residents and staff
- demonstrate good judgment problem solving and decision-making skills
- assist in maintaining a positive dining experience for residents
- adhere to health and safety regulations in food handling
- support team members and community events as needed
