Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and health regulations within the food industry
  • Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation management systems is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on guest services and communication

Job Duties

  • The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and an exceptional dining experience
  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and inviting demeanor
  • Manage the seating chart using OpenTable or similar reservation systems to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort
  • Assist in coordinating the flow of service between the front of house and kitchen staff
  • Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions
  • Answer phone calls regarding reservations and guest inquiries with professionalism
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area
  • Collaborate with servers and bussers to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with grace, escalating issues to management when necessary
