Job Requirements

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred
Familiarity with food handling practices and health regulations within the food industry
Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation management systems is a plus
Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on guest services and communication
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Duties

The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and an exceptional dining experience
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and inviting demeanor
Manage the seating chart using OpenTable or similar reservation systems to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort
Assist in coordinating the flow of service between the front of house and kitchen staff
Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions
Answer phone calls regarding reservations and guest inquiries with professionalism
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area
Collaborate with servers and bussers to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
Handle guest complaints or concerns with grace, escalating issues to management when necessary
