The role being offered is a Server position within a senior living setting. The position offers a starting wage of $13.00 to $15.00 per hour and operates on an as-needed (PRN) shift basis, allowing for flexible scheduling that can accommodate both full-time and part-time availability. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior relevant experience in hospitality, full-service or senior living preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • demonstrated good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • ability to prepare and serve food within specified time frames
  • capability to clean and maintain food service areas
  • flexibility to work PRN shifts

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of one year relevant experience in hospitality, full-service or senior living preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • prepare and serve food items to residents within scheduled time frame
  • clean and maintain food service areas, including kitchen and dining room
  • communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing with residents and staff
  • demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • follow established protocols and safety standards in food handling
  • contribute to a positive and respectful dining environment
