Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age to pour/server alcohol
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 5 hours
  • Frequently be able to safely lift bags cases and stack weight up to 50 pounds with assistance
  • Have working knowledge of the predominant language(s) of our guests
  • Prior experience in a server or customer service role preferred but not required
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments
  • Flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Must obtain Food Handler and Basset certification within 30 days of being hired

Job Duties

  • Sell food and beverages to bar guests in a friendly timely and responsible manner
  • Work from verbal and written instructions
  • Mix prepare and serve drink orders using standard recipes
  • Practice responsible alcohol service monitor alcohol consumption and age requirements
  • Operate cash POS system
  • Accept payment and provide change
  • Present menu actively sell and suggest menu items answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and service
  • Relay orders to kitchen and serve courses from kitchen and service bars
  • Assist in the service of food and beverage to tables pre-bussing functions and the set-up and takedown of buffet table
  • Request stock and check bar to monitor stock levels
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar station and guest areas throughout the shift and at the end of the night
  • Monitor equipment and beverage systems
  • Promote upcoming and special events to guests
  • Prepare bar top for next shift
  • Use POS system calculator and common cleaning supplies
  • Follow safety rules and keep work area clean and orderly
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
