Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must comply with the drug-free workplace policy
  • Must pass background check
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a server or bartender preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
  • Basic math and cash handling skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Maintain a guest focus while performing duties
  • Welcome and greet guests
  • Comply with liquor pour standards as set by Food & Beverage Director
  • Inform guests of any food and beverage specials
  • Be knowledgeable and able to answer questions about our food, beverages, and other restaurant and resort functions and services
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in point-of-sale system
  • Prepare and serve beverages for guests in a timely and accurate manner
  • Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignments
  • Complete opening and closing side work
  • Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas
  • Monitor and observe guests dining experience
  • ensure guests are satisfied with food and beverage service
  • Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
  • Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, and process through the POS system
  • Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
  • Notify manager-on-duty if guest is not 100 percent satisfied
  • Have complete knowledge of all policies, standards, and procedures of the department
