We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Server/Bartenders to join our fabulous team. This role is integral to the food and beverage operations of the resort and requires individuals who are hardworking, responsible, and excellent team players. The Server/Bartender position involves maintaining a strong guest focus by warmly welcoming and greeting guests, offering information about specials, and ensuring their orders are handled accurately and efficiently. Candidates will be expected to comply with established liquor pour standards and operate the point-of-sale system effectively. Additionally, the Server/Bartender will prepare and serve beverages, conduct opening and closing side work, and maintain clean and well-stocked service and dining areas. Monitoring the guest dining experience to ensure satisfaction and promptly responding to any requests is essential to the role.
The successful applicant must demonstrate knowledge of the resort's food, beverage, and other functions, and confidently answer guest inquiries. Furthermore, the Server/Bartender will be responsible for processing payments, preparing final bills, and thanking guests for their patronage. Any guest dissatisfaction must be promptly reported to the manager on duty to ensure a swift resolution. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must comply with the drug-free workplace policy
- Must pass background check
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a server or bartender preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Maintain a guest focus while performing duties
- Welcome and greet guests
- Comply with liquor pour standards as set by Food & Beverage Director
- Inform guests of any food and beverage specials
- Be knowledgeable and able to answer questions about our food, beverages, and other restaurant and resort functions and services
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in point-of-sale system
- Prepare and serve beverages for guests in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignments
- Complete opening and closing side work
- Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience
- ensure guests are satisfied with food and beverage service
- Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
- Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, and process through the POS system
- Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
- Notify manager-on-duty if guest is not 100 percent satisfied
- Have complete knowledge of all policies, standards, and procedures of the department
