Job Requirements
- Experience as a server/bartender required preferably in a high-volume bar
- Experience with computerized cash registers preferred
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
- Must have open availability to work evening shifts (2PM-9PM or 4PM-11PM) on Sunday Monday Tuesday and Wednesday
- Required to work 3 shifts per week with an opportunity to pick up more
- Must be able work in a fast-paced environment
- Majority of work takes place indoors
- Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures i.e. kitchens freezers
- Must be flexible to work variable days of the week to include weekends and holidays
- Ten to twelve hour shifts sometimes required
Job Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to work quickly without compromising quality
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Attentive friendly helpful and courteous to all guests managers and fellow employees
- Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Food handlers and TIPS certificates required
- Previous front facing guest service experience required
- Must read write and speak the English language fluently
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- Greet welcome and interact with guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Take orders prepare drinks according to recipes and serve all food and beverage requests in the bar
- Demonstrate complete knowledge of the food and beverage menu
- Prepare the bar for service by ensuring bar supplies garnishes utensils are properly set up in accordance with quality standards
- Inventory unused liquor and beverages
- Ensure that all liquor is properly secured before during and at close of shift
- Adhere to all cash handling and credit card policies and procedures
- Ensure that all drink orders from servers are accurately rung into the P.O.S. system
- Clean and reset bartop and tables immediately after guests depart
- Complete all closing duties and reports as assigned
- Secure all liquors beers wines coolers cabinets and storage areas
- Adhere to established safety and sanitation guidelines
- Adhere to uniform and grooming standards
- Perform other duties or projects as requested by management
