Servers and Bartenders are responsible for greeting guests promptly, taking accurate orders, and providing detailed information about the menu, including daily specials. They must maintain clean and organized service areas and tables throughout the guests' visit. Bartenders will prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, engage with guests at the bar, and ensure all alcohol service complies with legal requirements. Both roles require working closely with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operation and timely service. Employees will use POS systems to manage orders and payments efficiently, demonstrating accuracy in handling cash and card transactions. The position includes weekend brunch shifts from Friday through Sunday, requiring availability during these peak hours. The restaurant also supports teamwork and values employees who can assist in various duties as assigned by management to support overall operations. This position is eligible for tip sharing and full-time employees may qualify for additional company benefits. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • possess a valid Indiana Liquor License
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to stand and walk for at least 4 hours per shift
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to accurately handle money and process payments
  • available to work Friday through Sunday brunch shifts
  • strong teamwork and customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • possess a valid Indiana Liquor License
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to stand and walk for at least 4 hours per shift

  • ability to accurately handle money and process payments

  • previous serving or bartending experience
  • prior customer service experience
  • high school diploma or GED

Job Duties

  • Greet guests within five minutes of being seated and provide a welcoming dining experience
  • take accurate food and beverage orders while highlighting daily specials and menu features
  • maintain a clean and organized table throughout the guest’s visit
  • provide beverage refills and ensure guests’ needs are met in a timely manner
  • upsell menu items and beverage additions when appropriate
  • communicate effectively with the kitchen and support staff to ensure timely service
  • deliver food and beverages accurately to guests
  • present checks and process payments efficiently
  • use the POS system to enter and manage orders
  • prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests seated at the bar and for service staff in the dining area
  • engage with guests seated at the bar and provide recommendations when appropriate
  • ensure all guests consuming alcohol meet legal age requirements
  • maintain proper bar inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed
  • accurately ring in beverages using the POS system
  • efficiently process guest payments and maintain proper cash handling procedures
  • maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar area throughout the shift
  • maintain Department of Health and alcohol service standards
  • work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management
  • assist with additional duties as assigned by management to support restaurant operations
