About the Role: We are currently seeking a dynamic Server/Bartender to join our team. This role is integral to our service delivery, requiring a blend of mixology expertise, efficient order management, and attentive customer service. As a Server/Bartender, you will take customer orders, recommend drinks, and create a variety of traditional and creative cocktails that enhance our guests' experience. The position demands energy, passion for mixology, and a strong sense of responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of the bar area. You will serve customers both at the bar and in the main restaurant, ensuring legal compliance by confirming patrons’ legal drinking age and adhering to state and federal beverage laws. Familiarity with craft beer, along with a knowledge of bar inventory maintenance and register operations, is essential. This role requires availability from Monday to Sunday, 11am to 11pm, with weekend and evening shifts being a must. We also welcome candidates with hospitality certifications and experience who are eager to advance their careers within a supportive and dynamic team.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Previous experience in food service hospitality or bartending preferred
  • Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to handle cash and operate register
  • Flexibility to work Mon-Sun 11am-11pm

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Previous experience in food service hospitality or bartending preferred
  • Mixology or hospitality certification preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar menu items
  • Level 1 Cicerone certification encouraged
  • Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Take drink and food orders
  • Serve customers both at the bar and in the main restaurant
  • Know and be able to talk about craft beer
  • Confirm patrons are of legal drinking age and follow all state and federal laws for serving alcoholic beverages
  • Collect payment and operate cash register
  • Familiarity with BarTrack is a plus
  • Order, maintain, and restock inventory of bar supplies and ingredients
  • Perform duties associated with opening and closing the bar including cleaning and mopping
