Job Requirements
- Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
- must be dependable
- capable of maintaining a professional appearance
- able to work flexible hours
- must comply with sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies
- must be able to handle customer complaints professionally
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of food service experience
- minimum education: high school (or equivalent) diploma
- a thorough understanding of fine and casual dining
- excellent customer service skills
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to work in a team environment
Job Duties
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
- provide prompt and efficient customer service
- display knowledge of the food and beverage menu
- take guests food and/or drink orders and turn into kitchen, bar, etc
- serve beverages and prepared meals to guests in an accurate and timely manner
- adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
- check back to ensure guest satisfaction
- replenish items as requested
- suggest and serve dessert, coffee and other items as applicable
- handle all cash and/or credit cards for payment following standard operating procedures
- keep tables, dining room and work stations sanitized and organized
- listen and respond to customer complaints
- perform clean-up and closing procedures as assigned by manager
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
