Our establishment boasts a beautiful and welcoming Lobby Lounge, serving as a vibrant hub for guests to relax and enjoy a premium beverage experience. As an integral part of a well-regarded hospitality venue, our team members are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Located in a bustling area, our Lobby Lounge provides opportunities for growth within a supportive and dynamic hospitality environment.\n\nWe are currently seeking a full-time PM Bartender to join our team and contribute to the memorable experiences we offer. This position carries full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance eligible after 60 days, as well as floating holidays and sick pay. Vacation time of 40 hours becomes available after 90 days of employment. Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays and possess clear English communication skills across reading, speaking, and writing.\n\nIn this role, the Bartender will be responsible for mixing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes and established control systems to ensure consistency and safety. The role requires a commitment to exceptional guest service, with bartenders promptly greeting and courteously serving guests to create a positive and welcoming environment. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with all liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies, as well as effective inventory management and payment processing. This position requires physical stamina, as the bartender must be able to stand and move around the lounge for extended periods, often lifting trays and supplies, while operating in a lively, fast-paced atmosphere. The role also includes supervisory duties such as training staff, managing inventory orders, and preparing the bar for special events. Overall, this position is integral to maintaining the high standards of service and safety that define our Lobby Lounge experience.
Job Requirements
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English including reading, speaking and writing
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the dining area for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry trays, food, and beverage orders up to 25 pounds
- Knowledge of liquor laws and health regulations
- Ability to follow company policies and safety procedures
- Availability for full-time PM shift
- Must complete 60 days of employment to qualify for full medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits
- Must complete 90 days of employment to qualify for vacation time
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or related hospitality experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of liquor laws and safety regulations
- Ability to train and supervise staff
- Basic math skills for inventory and payment processing
- Physical stamina and mobility
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Clear English communication skills including reading, speaking and writing
Job Duties
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while following standard recipes to ensure established control systems are followed
- Provide exceptional service to guests by promptly welcoming and courteously serving guests
- Ensure all alcohol is removed from counters and tables prior to closing time, complete closing duties
- Comply with all liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management
- Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
- Supervise and train employees in their respective duties
- Manage the bar’s liquor and supply inventory
- Develops purchases and supply orders, checks in recently purchased bar items, arranges inventory for special events and makes supplies readily available for team
