Job Description

Wigle Whiskey and Threadbare Cider are acclaimed beverage establishments known for crafting exceptional spirits and ciders that celebrate local heritage and innovative craftsmanship. Wigle Whiskey, an award-winning distillery, prides itself on producing artisanal whiskeys with a rich history and passion for quality. Complementing this is Threadbare Cider, which offers a unique selection of handcrafted ciders that emphasize natural ingredients and artisanal techniques. Both establishments are deeply committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences through knowledgeable service, warm hospitality, and premium product offerings. Located in vibrant communities, they are not just places to consume beverages but are cultural destinations for spirit and cider enthusiasts. Both companies maintain a reputation for excellence and have earned a loyal following through dedication to craftsmanship and community engagement.

The role of wait staff at Wigle Whiskey and Threadbare Cider is a distinct opportunity to join a dynamic and passionate team devoted to hospitality and the spirit industry. This position is ideally suited for candidates who are positive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and thrive in a team environment while genuinely loving to work with people. Wait staff members serve as the frontline ambassadors, greeting customers with warmth and professionalism while ensuring an exceptional dining and tasting experience that aligns with the high standards of both establishments.

As part of this role, the wait staff will take an active part in guiding guests through the menu and product offerings, answering questions with confidence and enthusiasm about the spirits and ciders served. Utilizing the point of sale (POS) system, they take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery of items while maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the dining area. A crucial aspect of the role is to make certain all orders meet customer satisfaction, managing any corrections empathetically and efficiently. Additionally, wait staff assist with routine restaurant tasks such as prepping silverware, condiments, and maintaining an orderly environment.

This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and adaptability, given that work schedules may involve on-call shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays. RAMP certification is mandatory by the first day of employment, highlighting the importance Waggle Whiskey and Threadbare Cider place on responsible alcohol service and compliance. Prior experience in food and beverage service is preferred, though not strictly required, making this an ideal opportunity for those looking to advance or start their careers in hospitality within a spirited, award-winning setting.

By joining the team at Wigle Whiskey and Threadbare Cider, candidates become part of a company that values every individual’s contribution and fosters a culture of excellence, growth, and camaraderie. This is not just a job but a chance to engage with the vibrant world of craft spirits and ciders while building meaningful connections with a diverse clientele and passionate colleagues alike.
