This position is for a Server at Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group, offering an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team focused exclusively on all-day brunch — breakfast and lunch only. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing friendly and responsive service that crafts an exceptional dining experience for every guest. The role requires a strong commitment to hospitality and a passion for representing the unique brunch culture of New Orleans. Servers are encouraged to add a little "lagniappe" — the extra something special — to every guest interaction, creating raving Ruby fans who come back again and again. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills and cash handling experience
  • Ability to communicate and understand predominant guest languages
  • Ability to work on feet for up to 10 hours
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds safely
  • Knowledge of dining room service procedures
  • Availability to work breakfast and lunch shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills for cash handling
  • Knowledge of dining room and service procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the predominant language(s) of guests
  • Previous experience in food service preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems

Job Duties

  • Provide friendly and attentive service to guests
  • Take and deliver accurate food and beverage orders
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff
  • Handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems responsibly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
  • Stand for extended periods during shifts
  • Safely lift and carry trays weighing up to 25 pounds
