Job Requirements
- Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred
- have 2+ years of serving or related experience in a full-service restaurant
- have a current food handler’s card and alcohol service certification as required by federal/state/local law
- meet minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages
- have basic knowledge of food and beverage service/hospitality
- have excellent customer service skills
- high school diploma or GED
- ability to lift 40 lbs
- ability to work long hours, evenings, holidays, and weekends
- ability to remain on feet the majority of the workday
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- have 2+ years of serving or related experience in a full-service restaurant
- have a current food handler’s card and alcohol service certification as required by law
- strong knowledge of food and beverage service
- excellent customer service skills
- basic understanding of beer, wine, spirits, and sake preferred
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Take food and drink orders from members/guest accurately and with a positive attitude
- engage with members/guest in a friendly manner
- provide detailed information about the menu and make suggestions
- ensure tables are enjoying their meals and resolve any issues
- assist members/guest in selecting food and beverages by presenting menu and explaining specialties
- stay updated on menu choices, specials, and stock levels
- maintain table settings by removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling drinks
- properly open and pour wine at tableside
- perform basic cleaning tasks as directed
