Job Description

Old Chicago Pizza (OCP) has been a pioneer in the craft beer and casual dining scene since its inception in 1976. Over the past 40 years, Old Chicago has grown from a single establishment to over 100 locations, offering an exceptional selection of local and international beers alongside fresh, handcrafted pizzas and classic American fare. This full-service restaurant concept has built a loyal customer base by consistently delivering quality food, a vibrant atmosphere, and genuine hospitality. At Old Chicago, craft beer isn’t just a trend; it’s a way of life, deeply embedded in the culture and ethos of every location. Known for its commitment to quality ingredients and fresh menu offerings made from scratch, Old Chicago focuses on creating an inviting environment where guests can enjoy great food, an outstanding beer selection, and memorable good times.

Now hiring Servers / Waiters, Old Chicago Pizza is seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join their hospitality team. The role of Server is essential in driving the restaurant's ongoing success by providing top-notch customer service and creating an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be the face of the restaurant, greeting guests warmly, guiding them through the menu, and ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations. You will need to demonstrate thorough knowledge of the food and beverage offerings, including the extensive craft beer menu, to make recommendations that enhance the guest's visit.

This role requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering genuine, attentive, and fun service. Servers at Old Chicago take pride in providing prompt and courteous attention that makes every guest feel valued and well cared for. Beyond guest interactions, teamwork and a positive "can-do" attitude are crucial to maintaining a smooth and enjoyable atmosphere for both staff and patrons. The position offers flexibility with part-time or full-time hours, catering to various lifestyles including students and family commitments. Old Chicago supports its team members with competitive pay, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, along with voluntary benefits options. Advancement opportunities and team member discounts further enrich the employment experience, making Old Chicago not just a place to work, but a place to grow your career in the hospitality industry.

At Old Chicago, inclusivity and professional development are key values. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with E-Verify guidelines. This reinforces the commitment to fostering a diverse and supportive workplace where team members can thrive. The Server role involves more than taking orders; it includes creating positive first impressions, building guest loyalty, and contributing to a memorable dining adventure that aligns with the brand’s reputation. If you are passionate about service, eager to learn, and excited to be a part of a respected restaurant brand that celebrates craft beer and great food, Old Chicago Pizza offers a dynamic and rewarding work environment to start or continue your hospitality career.
