The role of Server / Wait Staff at Olive Garden is vital in delivering memorable dining experiences by providing exceptional and attentive service to guests. Servers serve as the frontline ambassadors of the Olive Garden experience, guiding guests through a flavorful journey of Italian cuisine, sharing their knowledge about the menu, daily specials, wines, and ingredients. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred but not required
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends and holidays
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to carry and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional table service taking orders accurately and efficiently
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the menu including daily specials ingredients and allergen information
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely and presentable manner
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth service flow
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and server stations
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
