The role of an Applebee's Server within Flynn Applebee's is both dynamic and rewarding. This position offers a unique blend of fun, flexibility, and growth potential. Physical demands are a significant aspect of the Server role. Servers must demonstrate stamina and mobility, able to work well-paced for up to four hours at a time. Tasks include reaching, bending, stooping, and safely lifting up to 25 pounds regularly. Servers typically transport plates, glasses, and baskets multiple times per shift between the dining room, service bar, and kitchen. Additional responsibilities include maintaining high hygiene standards, wearing protective gear like hand coverings and face masks as needed, and frequent hand washing using disinfecting soap. - ability to communicate effectively
- capable of standing and walking for extended periods
- able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds safely
- willingness to wear protective hand coverings and face masks as required
