Job Description

We are currently expanding our team and looking for enthusiastic individuals with a positive, motivated attitude to join us as Servers. This part-time position offers competitive pay ranging from $17.50 to $18.50 per hour, along with tips and benefits such as employee discounts, paid training, paid sick time, paid time off, and a flexible schedule. The work schedule includes shifts on weekdays, weekends, holidays, both day and night shifts, and requires on-site presence.

As a Server at Boiling Point, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and hospitality to every customer. You will be responsible for greeting customers promptly, providing recommendations based on your thorough knowledge of the menu, accurately taking orders, and efficiently serving food and beverages. Additionally, you will manage cashier duties, including preparing checks and processing payments through the POS system. Maintaining cleanliness in the dining and service areas is critical, including bussing tables, refilling sauces, cleaning sauce containers, setting up tables, and stocking service supplies. You will also perform general housekeeping duties of restrooms and uphold personal health and sanitation standards. Compliance with Boiling Point’s safety codes, code of ethics, integrity, and conduct policies is expected.

This role requires excellent multitasking and teamwork skills, an ability to work under fast-paced conditions, and a friendly attitude to ensure positive customer interactions. Physical demands include standing or walking continuously, frequent bending, lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, and occasional squatting. The work environment involves being in the kitchen and dining areas, where temperatures may vary widely and surfaces may be slippery. Noise levels can be loud, so the ability to maintain focus and communicate effectively in this environment is important.

Job Duties

  • Greet incoming customers immediately whenever possible
  • Has thorough knowledge of food and beverage menu and make suggestions to customers
  • Take orders and serve food and/or beverage to customers
  • Cashiering duties including preparing checks and processing payment through POS system
  • Ensuring cleanliness in dining area including but not limited to removing dishes from tables and taking them to the kitchen for cleaning, refilling sauces, and cleaning sauce containers as needed
  • Set up tables in preparation for the next customer
  • Responsible for general housekeeping duties of the restrooms
  • Stock service areas with supplies when needed
  • Maintain personal health and sanitation standards
  • Must be knowledgeable of all safety codes per BP's guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with BP’s code of ethics, integrity and conduct
