Job Description

As a Server at Traditions, you will serve as an ambassador of hospitality, ensuring that every guest receives first-class service. The role involves much more than just taking orders; it focuses on creating memorable dining experiences through attentive, friendly, and efficient service. You will engage with guests, responding to their requests promptly and accurately, maintaining a strong knowledge of the menu and daily specials to provide informed recommendations. Efficiency in using the point-of-sale system to process orders is essential, as is timely delivery of food and beverages to the guests. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all regulations regarding the serving of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and maintaining a well-stocked serving station. Working as part of a stellar team, you will collaborate closely with other staff members to uphold the restaurant's high standards of service and hospitality. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills

Job Duties

  • Responding to guests requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Strong knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions as well specials
  • Taking guests food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
  • Retrieving and delivering food and beverage orders in a timely manner
  • Ensuring guests satisfaction throughout the their dining experience
  • Serving alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
  • Ensuring serving station is well-stocked at all times
  • Working in tandem with a stellar team
