The Food Server role at Conrad Nashville plays a vital part in crafting a memorable dining experience for guests. This position is centered around exceptional customer service and interaction, ensuring that guests feel welcomed and well cared for throughout their visit. Food Servers are responsible for greeting guests in a friendly and positive manner, guiding them through the dining experience, and consistently following standardized procedures to maintain high service standards. The role demands adaptability as servers may be rotated to different food and beverage outlets within the hotel to meet operational needs. Maintaining cleanliness, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring the proper presentation and delivery of food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks, are essential aspects of the job. Food Servers must be knowledgeable about all menu items and possess effective selling techniques to enhance the guest experience. Communication skills are critical, allowing servers to promptly address and resolve guest concerns, provide a professional atmosphere that encourages repeat visits, and uphold hotel and department standards. Job Requirements

2+ years of experience in a hotel, restaurant, or catering facility of similar caliber preferred
Experience in fast paced, high volume atmosphere
Good organizational and communication skills
Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to read, write and speak fluent English

Job Qualifications

2+ years of experience in a hotel, restaurant, or catering facility of similar caliber preferred
Experience in fast paced, high volume atmosphere

Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures

Job Duties

Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome upon seating
Guide guest through all phases of their experience at the restaurant
Consistently follow sequence of service utilizing all proper procedures standardized by management
Rotate to other food and beverage outlets/venues, as necessary
Maintain table cleanliness utilizing silent table approach
Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment
Ensure table side food service and quality presentation
Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned sections, side stations, tables and POS stations
Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
Review identification of customers to verify they are of legal drinking age
Maintain level of professionalism that will make guest want to return
Exhibit proper knowledge, selling techniques of all menu items
food, non-alcoholic beverages and alcoholic beverages
Deliver food and beverages, including alcoholic options to guests
Provide proper communication and promptly resolve guest issues
Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing
Work as a team, assisting all guests’ needs and inquiries
Ensure all Conrad Nashville core values as well as property and department standards are implemented and applied
Bid farewell to guests, using guest’s name when known and encourage them to return
