Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalency required
- availability aligned with Town Company hours, Wednesday - Sunday 4pm - 12am
- minimum two years of food and beverage serving experience
- ability to lift, pull and push up to 50lbs
- ability to transport large trays weighing up to 50lbs through a crowded room continuously
- ability to operate beverage and toast equipment
- ability to operate a keyboard and learn POS procedures
- ability to stand, walk, and perform essential functions for extended periods
- strong organizational skills
- skilled at problem solving
- ability to work professionally and respectfully
Job Qualifications

- strong knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette preferred

Job Duties
- Follow all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards
- ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of equipment
- report repair needs promptly
- maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all work areas
- maintain full knowledge of table/seat numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, contact information, and restaurant setup
- maintain full knowledge of all spirits, beers, non-alcoholic beverages, glassware, and garnishes
- maintain full knowledge of wine-by-the-glass program and characteristics of each selection
- maintain full knowledge of all menu items, preparation methods, ingredients, and quality standards
- maintain full knowledge of local vendors and farmers
- maintain full knowledge of POS and reservation systems
- ensure assigned station is properly set and clean before, during, and after shifts
- confirm service ware condition and ensure items meet standards
- greet guests warmly, anticipate needs, and provide attentive, professional service
- stay knowledgeable about hotel services and local attractions to assist guests
- communicate specials and promotions clearly
- take and accurately record food and beverage orders
- enter orders into POS
- retrieve and serve beverages ensuring accuracy, appropriate garnishes, and correct glassware
- serve wine bottles according to standards
- comply with all liquor laws and company alcohol service policies
- preset tables as needed
- deliver food orders up to 50 lbs verifying accuracy and presentation
- refill beverages, check guest satisfaction, clear courses, and remove soiled items promptly
- assist in resolving guest complaints by involving management appropriately
- market and serve desserts and specialty beverages
- present checks promptly and follow cash-handling and payment procedures
- clear and reset tables efficiently
- complete assigned side work and general cleaning tasks
- perform additional duties as assigned by management
