LCB Senior Living is currently seeking both full-time and part-time Servers for The Residence at Natick South. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work within a supportive environment that values teamwork and dedication to service. The wage for this position ranges from $17.25 to $20.25 per hour, depending on the applicant’s experience. Full-time associates benefit from robust health, vision, dental insurance options, 401k plans, paid time off, and holiday pay from day one. Part-time associates working 24 to 29 hours per week receive paid time off and holiday pay as well. As a Server at The Residence at Natick South, you will be expected to provide a high level of customer service that promotes a restaurant-style dining atmosphere for residents. Working in close collaboration with the Culinary Services Director and Executive Director, you will ensure residents are satisfied with the food and dining programs offered. Your responsibilities will include setting tables to LCB’s standards, serving residents and guests beverages, reviewing daily menus, taking and delivering accurate meal orders, and removing used plates and utensils promptly. You will also help prepare and execute dining enhancement programs, special events, banquets, and themed meals. Beyond food service, your role involves maintaining cleanliness in the dining area and communicating residents’ preferences clearly to inform menu planning.

This position requires someone with a calm demeanor during emergencies, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent communication in English, both oral and written, is essential to interacting successfully with residents and staff members. The physical demands include the ability to handle and manipulate instruments and equipment, lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds, and perform various physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, walking, standing, and bending as needed. Job Requirements

  • Less than high school education
  • Finger and hand dexterity to handle and manipulate instruments and equipment
  • Visual and auditory acuity
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs and be able to carry objects
  • Must be able to push and pull carts, and continuously walk, sit and stand
  • Must be able to turn, crouch, kneel, stoop, bend below waist, and reach above shoulder height as tasks dictate
  • Must use good body mechanics
  • Must be able to type and use a computer

Job Duties

  • Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere
  • Work closely with the Culinary Services Director and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs
  • Set tables in accordance to LCB standards
  • Serve residents and guests beverages as requested
  • Review daily menu with residents
  • Takes and delivers accurate meal orders to residents and guests
  • Remove used or soiled plates, utensils, glasses, linen from the dining room as needed
  • Assist with preparation and execution of dining enhancement programs
  • Adhere to Quality Enhancement standards and standard food safety practices
  • Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals
  • When applicable acquaint new residents with menus, seating, and dining options and hours
  • Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment used in the dining room
  • Communicate resident likes and dislikes to food service director and/or dining room manager for menu planning purposes and resident satisfaction
  • Create a strong sense of team work and cooperation among all staff
  • Attend pre-meal stand up held for all dining and kitchen staff
