Job Requirements

  • TABC certification and food handlers card required
  • must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages
  • at least 1-2 years of previous experience working as a server in a fine dining outlet
  • ability to work weekends and rotating shifts especially evenings and holidays
  • ability to operate point-of-sale systems
  • positive interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greets members and guests as they are seated at the table
  • ensures the table is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided
  • answers questions regarding the menu items with the knowledge to suggestively sell beverages and menu items
  • takes food and beverage orders and informs culinary team about any special cooking instructions/modifications
  • delivers food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to members and guests
  • ensures that food is prepared correctly to the members and guests' satisfaction
  • returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen
  • keeps managers informed of any issues that might affect quality or timing of service
  • collects plates and clears the table as members and guests finish their meals
  • presents dessert menus, suggests, and serves dessert, coffee, and after-dinner drinks
  • assists with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and set up side station and performs assigned prep work
  • performs other related duties as assigned
  • complete all assigned pre-shift side duties in a timely manner
  • attends pre-service training (line-up meeting)
  • thanks members and guests, invite them to return
