Job Description
Tapville is a vibrant social dining establishment that prides itself on delivering an exceptional customer experience centered around great beer, wine, and delectable food in a welcoming environment. The restaurant fosters a culture where cheerfulness, reliability, attentiveness, and conscientious teamwork are paramount. At Tapville, the mission is simple: to create a friendly space free from distractions where guests can relax and enjoy a unique culinary and beverage experience. Known for its innovative table and tap wall technology, Tapville integrates modern convenience with a warm social atmosphere, ensuring a seamless, hassle-free visit for every patron.
The role of a Tapville Social Dining Ambassador is pivotal within the Front of House team. Dining Ambassadors embody the spirit and core values of the establishment, representing the brand while ensuring every guest receives personalized and attentive service in alignment with Tapville’s Five-Star Service model. This role involves interacting with guests to explain the Tapville concept, assisting with food and beverage orders, and ensuring high standards of quality are consistently maintained. Dining Ambassadors work closely with both Front of House and Back of House teams to uphold product standards and deliver an experience that exceeds expectations. Their duties include managing the flow of service effectively, educating guests on the innovative technology used at Tapville to enhance convenience, and resolving service-related issues promptly with management support.
Working as a Tapville Dining Ambassador demands a blend of excellent communication skills, a passion for craft beer and cocktails, and the ability to perform efficiently in a dynamic team environment. Ambassadors are tasked with maintaining impeccable cleanliness and safety standards throughout the dining area while ensuring an enjoyable service pace that maximizes table turnover without compromising guest satisfaction. This position also involves responsibly serving alcoholic beverages and managing waste and costs effectively. It is a role that blends customer service excellence with operational efficiency and a deep understanding of Tapville’s culinary and beverage offerings.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, eager to enhance their knowledge of craft beverages, and committed to providing top-tier service in a fast-paced, friendly setting. Candidates must be at least 18 years old with RAMP certification to serve alcohol responsibly. The position requires availability to work weekends and evenings, demonstrating reliability and flexibility. Physically, Dining Ambassadors must be able to stand throughout their shifts and handle the physical demands of the restaurant environment, including bending, lifting, and moving efficiently. Tapville values punctuality and regular attendance in compliance with federal and state standards.
Ultimately, the Tapville Social Dining Ambassador is more than a server; they are the face of the brand, a catalyst for memorable guest experiences, and a key contributor to the restaurant’s ongoing success. By upholding Tapville’s core values and operating standards, Ambassadors play an essential role in creating a vibrant, enjoyable atmosphere where guests can savor every moment of their visit.
