The Food Service Lead Server at Nichols Middle School will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily food service activities. Reporting directly to the Coordinator of Nutrition Services, the incumbent will be responsible for preparing and serving food items efficiently to students and school personnel while maintaining a safe and sanitary food service facility. This role demands excellent organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively with school staff, and a commitment to adhering to all health and safety regulations. Key duties include arranging food and beverage items for service, monitoring inventory and food quality, and ensuring accurate meal counts in collaboration with school principals and teachers. Handling monitoring tasks like student account balances and ensuring compliance with food service financial standards is also integral to this position. Flexibility is essential as the Lead Server may perform functions of other nutritional services positions to maintain seamless service coverage. Furthermore, the role requires active participation in departmental meetings and training workshops to stay updated on best practices and regulatory requirements. Job Duties
- Arranges food and beverage items for efficient service
