Job Description

Woodbridge Terrace of Irvine is part of Kisco Senior Living, a dynamic and award-winning leader in the senior living industry with over 30 years of experience. Kisco Senior Living is committed to creating a great place to live for residents and a great place to work for associates. The company is known for providing exemplary customer service, hospitality, and compassionate care to senior residents, ensuring their comfort, health, and happiness within a vibrant community environment. Woodbridge Terrace exemplifies this mission by offering a compassionate, supportive setting where residents enjoy quality dining experiences as part of their daily life.

The role of Server at Woodbridge Terrace is essential to maintaining the high standard of hospitality and service that residents and guests expect. This position is part-time with a schedule from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. The pay rate is competitive at $18.00 to $18.50 per hour. As a Server, you will be responsible for performing all dining steps of service in a friendly and professional manner. This includes greeting and escorting residents in all dining venues, assisting with their requests, and demonstrating knowledge of the daily menu to provide helpful recommendations and support.

Maintaining a clean dining environment and proper table settings are also key components of this position. The Server will contribute to the overall dining experience by ensuring that the dining areas are welcoming and orderly. This role requires a team player who brings a positive attitude—literally bringing a smile to work every day. Previous serving experience is preferred but not required, and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Food Handler’s certification is a mandatory requirement, as it ensures safe food handling practices that protect the health of residents and staff alike.

Besides the vital role played within the dining services team, this position offers excellent benefits. Woodbridge Terrace and Kisco Senior Living provide a comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive pay, rewards and recognition, growth opportunities, and outstanding healthcare benefits for full-time employees. Additionally, eligible employees receive access to a matching 401(k) retirement plan. This makes working as a Server at Woodbridge Terrace not only fulfilling on a personal and professional level but also beneficial for long-term career and financial growth.

Kisco Senior Living emphasizes quality of life for both residents and associates. The company is committed to equal opportunity employment and conducts a thorough pre-employment process to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone in its care. This process includes drug screening, job-specific physicals, TB tests, and background checks, all of which are funded by the company.

If you are passionate about delivering excellent service in a caring and supportive environment and meet the qualifications, the Server position at Woodbridge Terrace offers a rewarding opportunity to be part of a respected senior living community.
